Big Apple Festival in Natz: 11.10.2026

Autumn is here, the apples have been picked. Every year on the second Sunday in October, the traditional Apple Festival takes place in Natz-Schabs to mark Thanksgiving and attracts many onlookers. Naturally, apples play the leading role! A huge apple crown made of 3,000 yellow and red apples attracts everyone's attention during the festive parade. The Apple Festival kicks off with a morning pint of veal sausage, pretzels and music. At 2 pm, many decorated floats, the festival carriage with the guests of honour and bands parade through the village.

A passion for apples, expertise in all aspects of the crunchy fruit and a likeable demeanour: The Apple Queen of Natz-Schabs is the best-known product queen with the longest tradition in South Tyrol. Her task is to represent our region at various events at home and abroad. Whether at openings, festivals, guest honours or trade fairs: The Apple Queen of Natz-Schabs is always a welcome guest.

The first Apple Queen was crowned in Natz-Schabs back in 1993. Long before many other product queens were elected. We are proud of that! The Apple Queen is chosen every year. The coronation and official inauguration of the royal highness takes place at the annual Apple Festival.
